Synopsis:
The
"Piles" Project is
a new film conceived, edited and directed by Peter Welch and Tim Cramer. The
film mixes straightforward documentary style film making with touches of
traditional narrative film making to create a unique viewing experience.
Though the main focus of the film explores piles of objects strewn about a
home or an apartment, the film also examines some of the deeper meanings
behind piles including the age old debate between order versus chaos. The
film's take on these issues is mostly light and comedic in tone, however there
are some heavy moments in the story as well, especially when debate rages
between couples who are having severe piling issues.
