WELCOME TO THE SUNDAYS IN THE CITY FILM FESTIVAL OFFICIAL WEBSITE!!!  WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR THE MARCH, 2008 EVENT

"Sundays in the City March Movie Marathon" is a screening series for independent filmmakers, produced by filmmakers for filmmakers, who want to screen their films in a non-competitive and fun environment, which provides networking with industry, actors, and fellow filmmakers.

"Since I created Sundays in the City March Movie Marathon in 2005, the event has helped many filmmakers, actors and actresses, singers, comedians, etc. It is a wonderful networking opportunity for those that participate in it and those that attend the event. Some filmmakers that have screened their films at the event, have gotten distribution deals. Some actors and actresses that have attended the event have been casted by the filmmakers, who screened their films at the event, in their brand new films. Some singers that have performed at the event, ended up getting their songs in a couple of new films, by filmmakers that have screened their films at the event. Each year for the event, promises to be bigger and better than the year before. Celebs, casting directors, production companies, and industry people have attended the event each year. Some films that have screened at the event included: Star Wars Revelations, A Walk in the Dark (starring Mike McGlone), A-List (starring Sally Kirkland and Daphne Zuniga), The Fan and the Flower (featuring the voice work of Paul Giamatti), Making the Grade (starring Hugh Jackman), Blackwater Elegy (starring Barry Corbin and John Cullum), Bum Runner (starring Joseph D. Reitman and Fred "Rerun" Berry), and Peace (starring Kurtwood Smith)."
